Purpose

Well, being that I have a passion for learning about firearms, and their uses....I figured I'd use this "blog" as a tool to share valuable info I've come across.

Rather than maintain a list of bookmarks on my browser, then share those links upon request on the forums...I thought I'd leave them up for those who are interested.

I'm not an expert, nor do I pretend to be. I'm just putting info out there (or, more specifically, mostly linking to it) for folks to evaluate on their own. Hopefully this will cut down on the junk folks need to wade through, to find info on a topic.

There seems to be a lot of myth, and misinformation that surrounds firearms. Working as a Range Officer for a while, I saw all kinds of people advocate all kinds of bad ideas. You always hear something like "Well, my buddy is a cop, and he said..." or "Well my Uncle was in 'Nam, and he said..." or "If you can't hit the bag guy in # shots..." all kinds of stuff that is based more on hearsay and anecdotes, than experience and fact. The links and posts collected here, represent an effort to cut down on some of the bad info floating around out there.
